The Johnsonburg Community Trust invites you to the 17th-annual, Alumni and Friends Reunion Weekend.

Reunion Weekend Activities Schedule

Borough of Johnsonburg, PA

Friday, September 10th – Sunday, September 12th

A 1970s style of clothing or accessories are encouraged all weekend to Celebrate the ‘70s

Rain-or-Shine Event (In case of rain, festivities continue inside and under cover outside on Market Street.)

Friday, September 10, 2021 
6:00 to Midnight

Food, Beverage, and Vendors on Market Street / Live Music 1st performance by Matt Silvia and 2nd by The Avenue will be playing rock classics & current favorites, 5:30-8:30 and then 9-12pm / Indoor & Outdoor seating.

Historic Structures Open To The Public on Market Street include—

-1919 Hyde-Murphy Community Center (handicapped accessible,* extra seating in gym and on patio, live broadcast of 7pm Johnsonburg Homecoming football game vs. Moniteau, cornhole and other playground games)

-1927 Hyde-Murphy Elks Building (barbecued-chicken dinners, eat-in or take out)

-1929 Library Building (Elk County Murders & Mysterious Deaths author Jim Baumgratz and Americana quilt raffle tickets available for 9/11 drawing)

-1892 G.C. Murphy Building (Johnsonburg Farmers’ & Artisans’ Market's NIGHT MARKET with local artisans and producer-only vendors) along the Brick Block arcade and street. Will be inside the G.C. Murphy building if it rains. The Gypsy Wagon Food Truck is also joining in for New Orleans style fare.

-1890 Brick Block Building (Tours offered—6:00pm, 6:30pm, 7:00pm)

-Coffee in the Gazebo, American Legion Memorial Grounds, compliments of Post 501 (411 Market St.)

-(1920 Prince of Piedmont Club, 466 Center St., serving Fish Fries and their famous fries)

-(1897 Central Hose Co. Club, 326 W Center St., serving full menu until 3am)

Saturday September 11, 2021 
Alumni & Friends Reunion, Market Street Activities and Dinner and Dance

10am—Food vendors in front of Community Center (600 Market Street)

11am—Veterans’ Wall of Honor Unveiling Ceremony at Community Center

Noon, 12:30p, 1pm—Brick-Block Tours Offered (569 Market Street)

Alumni-and-Friends Dinner-Dance

6pm-11pm—Celebrating the 70s (Johnsonburg Firehall, 99 Clarion Road) Live music by Moore Brothers.

Sunday 9/12/21
Day-After Gathering at Bendigo State Park

Sun Rise-to-Sun Set, Pavilion #1 (at the far end of the main parking lot) is a gathering site for all who’d like to visit, courtesy of the class of 1961.

The pavilion and picnic areas provide easy access to ADA bathrooms, parking, and the river.
